Working closely with our CFO you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure operational efficiency and effectiveness.

Responsibilities
Provide audit and analysis of financial report packages including P&L, balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements for multiple facilities
Work with CFO on the preparation and submission of tax returns and other financial reports
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
Booking and auditing transactions regarding land acquisitions, including 1031 exchanges
Managing insurance, tax commission and general liability audits
Reconciling Bank Statements and GL accounts
Maintains systems of internal control and record keeping, in support of the annual audit and other statutory requirements that are consistent and well organized.
Maintain accounting policies and procedures to assure compliance.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Accounting, Finance, or related field
Minimum 3 years experience as a Controller or in a similar accounting position responsible for the management of key accounting functions
Knowledge and proficiency of Microsoft Office Professional Suite and Google Suite/Workspace
Proficiency in Quickbooks
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and thrive in a fast-paced environment
Ability to view new situations and problems positively and as an opportunity to learn something new and contribute to the success of the team
Preferred
CPA or MBA
