Meridian Automotive is a full-service automotive repair shop located in Meridian, Idaho. We are rated A+ by the BBB and are AAA Approved. We are seeking a data-driven, results-oriented General Manager to lead operations for Meridian Automotive, Gem State Diesel, and Nesmith Towing. This role demands a leader who can leverage business intelligence to create win-win-win scenarios for our companies, employees, and customers.

Position Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive scorecards for each business unit, ensuring all team members understand how their roles contribute to overall success.
  • Create and maintain real-time, visible scoreboards that clearly communicate team and individual performance metrics.
  • Use business intelligence tools to analyze trends, identify opportunities, and make informed decisions that drive growth and efficiency.
  • Foster a culture of healthy competition and continuous improvement based on transparent performance data.
  • Implement a data-driven sales process that maximizes customer satisfaction and revenue.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews using scorecards to ensure alignment with company goals and individual growth.
  • Develop strategies to create synergies between the three businesses, leveraging data to identify cross-selling and upselling opportunities.
  • Maintain a personal positive attitude and positive communications at all times.
  • Maintain a supportive/cooperative line of communication with all members of staff.
  • Act in a professional manner suitable as to represent a quality organization with which you are employed, always and in every instance projecting the characteristics of honesty and integrity.

Required Qualifications

  • Proven experience in a senior management role with a strong track record of data-driven success
  • Demonstrated ability to implement and manage by scorecards across multiple business units
  • Proficiency in business intelligence tools and data analysis
  • Strong understanding of KPIs in automotive, repair, and service industries
  • Excellent leadership skills with a focus on data-driven team motivation
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Analytics, or related field; MBA preferred

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with automotive-specific management and analytics software
  • Track record of improving business performance through data-driven strategies
  • Knowledge of lean management principles and their application in automotive services
