MSI Supply Chain Logistics - Richardson TX
Job Description
The Logistics Analyst will be responsible for all Logistics Operations supporting business needs for the MSI Richardson, TX location. These responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Manage 3rd Party Logistics suppliers that provide Transportation and Logistics services.
- Oversee inbound logistics of supply and outbound logistics of customer orders.
- Partner with supply chain and logistics staff to complete key goals and initiatives.
- Coordinate with project managers to deliver customer orders per contracted terms.
- Analyze logistics operations for cost, quality, and delivery improvements.
- Other duties as assigned
- Experience with High Value communication Products, Battery Dangerous Goods, International Air Freight Logistics, and Shipping/Receiving processes
- Government or project logistics experience preferred
- Excellent customer service, quality management, and process improvement focus
- Bachelors Degree Business or a Supply Chain concentration
- 3 years experience with Logistics Operations utilizing Air, Ocean, and Ground 3PL services.
- Experience with Freight Forwarding operations and US customs formalities
- US Citizen or Work Permit to legally work in the USA
