Job Summary
This position is for a talented and experienced Ceramic Artist to lead and run ceramic arts workshops for high school students. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in ceramic arts and a passion for educating and inspiring young artists. Key Responsibilities: -Plan, design, and execute ceramic arts workshops tailored for high school students. -Teach students various ceramic techniques, including hand-building, wheel throwing, glazing, and firing. -Provide individualized guidance and feedback to students to help them develop their artistic skills. -Ensure a safe and inclusive learning environment for all participants. -Manage workshop materials, tools, and equipment. -Collaborate with school staff to align workshops with educational goals and standards. -Stay updated with current trends and techniques in ceramic arts to bring fresh ideas to the workshops. Qualifications: -Proven experience as a Ceramic Artist either through resume or portfolio. -Prior experience teaching or running workshops, preferably with high school students. -Deep knowledge of ceramic materials, processes, and techniques. -Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. -Ability to inspire and motivate young artists. -Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. -A degree in Fine Arts, Ceramics, or a related field is preferred but not required. This role is perfect for a passionate ceramic artist who enjoys sharing their expertise and fostering more art opportunities to high school students.

If selected to coach, the following items will be required prior to clearance: 1) TB/Drug Screening within 5 days of offer. 2) Create a coaching login with Home Campus at https://www.homecampus.com/coach/login and you can begin to upload all of your certificates into it as you are awarded them. 3) Valid CPR & First Aid prior to start date. 4) Completion of Keenan SafeSchools online training modules. 5) Live Scan Fingerprinting CPR and First Aid Certifications must be from an American Heart Association or American Red Cross Approved, in-person course. No online certificates will be accepted.
