About the Role: As the Lead UX Designer, you will drive the end-to-end user experience for our next-generation platform. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to align design strategies with business goals, lead user research, and create impactful design solutions. This role offers the opportunity to shape our product's future while mentoring junior designers and championing user-centered design.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to;

  • Lead UX Design Initiatives:
  • Drive the end-to-end UX design process for the next-generation platform.Develop user personas, user journeys, and task flows based on user research.
  • Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams:
  • Work closely with product managers to align design strategies with business goals.Partner with engineers to ensure the feasibility of designs and smooth implementation.
  • Conduct User Research:
  • Plan and execute user research studies, including interviews, surveys, and usability testing.Analyze research findings to inform design decisions and improve user satisfaction.
  • Create Design Artifacts:
  • Produce wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups using tools like Sketch, Figma, or Adobe XD.Develop and maintain design systems and style guides to ensure consistency.
  • Advocate for User-Centered Design:
  • Champion best practices in UX/UI design within the organization.Stay up-to-date with the latest design trends and technologies to bring fresh ideas to the team.
  • Mentorship:
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior designers on the team.Foster a collaborative and creative team environment.

Requirements

Educational Background:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field. Experience:
  • Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in UX design.Proven track record of leading design projects for complex platforms or products. Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe XD, or similar.Strong understanding of responsive design, accessibility standards, and front-end technologies. Soft Skills:
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Portfolio:
  • A compelling portfolio showcasing your UX design work, process, and impact on real products.

Base salary based on education, experience, and skills level ($90,900-$270,400)

  • Level 1 - Possesses essential capabilities.
    • $90,900-$126,800
  • Level 2 - Possesses developing capabilities.
    • $126,800-$162,700
  • Level 3 - Possesses notable capabilities.
    • $162,700-$198,600
  • Level 4 - Possesses strong capabilities.
    • $198,600-$234,500
  • Level 5 - Possesses advanced capabilities.
    • $234,500-$270,400
