Front End Developer

Exiger is building technology that makes the world a more transparent place to succeed. Our focus lies in developing SaaS solutions that play an active role in combatting human trafficking, thwarting money laundering, and ensuring adherence to global sanctions. Joining our team entails creating the software designed to support these initiatives.

Exiger is looking for an enthusiastic front-end developer to join our UI team to build amazing user experiences with Angular. The developer will apply their extensive experience with modern technologies and practices to help end-users make effective use of large data sets.

What You'll Do:

• Collaborate with product owners to define user stories
• Participate in constructive design discussions to deliver maintainable and practical solutions
• Make recommendations on how to evolve the code base
• Accurately estimate development effort
• Develop and test new features
• Squash bugs
• Participate in peer code reviews
• Mentor junior developers
  
  
  

The Tech Stack Needed:

• Modern Javascript (ES6+)
• JavaScript transpilers
• Typescript
• Angular
• Node.js
• Express.js
• Responsive mobile web development experience
• Module bundling/loading technologies like Webpack
• Experience with Nx tooling and monorepos
• Experience with Sass CSS pre-processor or similar
  
  
  

Who You Are:

• 3 years of software development experience
• 1+ years of experience with JavaScript, CSS, HTML
• 2 years of experience using Angular
• At least 1 year of experience using agile methodologies

This is a Remote first position. Candidates must be located within 2-hour of McLean, VA, US as you will be expected onsite 1-2 days per month.
