As a member of the Global Real Estate & Facilities (GREF) team, the AMER Office Activations Program Manager is responsible for designing, planning, and executing engaging employee experiences and events across Amazon's corporate offices in the Americas region.
This role involves leading a team of vendors, collaborating with internal stakeholders, and integrating efforts with external partners responsible for internal corporate communications and community events. The manager will create and implement strategies that enhance employee engagement, foster a vibrant workplace culture, and align with Amazon's corporate goals and values.
The optimal candidate should have a passion for office and event coordination and customer experience as well as great attention to detail, and the ability to effectively prioritize and multi-task. They must demonstrate a sense of urgency, bias for action, and be comfortable operating in both the strategic and tactical level. The role will be based in Seattle, WA and could include some travel.

Key job responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive employee engagement strategy that aligns with Amazon's corporate culture and goals.
  • Create an annual calendar of office activations, ensuring a balanced mix of activities that cater to diverse employee interests and needs.
  • Collaborate with internal and external teams to integrate office activations with broader corporate initiatives, including cohesive messaging and promotion, and alignment with affinity group strategies, employee development and wellness initiatives, and support grassroots team led initiatives.
  • Lead a team of vendors across the Americas region on high-quality delivery.
  • Build and evolve Amazon’s Expressions program strategy to promote an innovative mindset through dynamic art experiences.
  • Establish performance standards, KPIs, SOPs, and best practices for vendor teams to ensure consistency across locations, innovation, and continuous improvement.
  • Design and implement creative office activations that enhance the employee experience, promote work-life balance, and reinforce Amazon's culture.
  • Gather and analyze employee feedback to inform future event planning; measure the impact of activations on employee satisfaction and engagement.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key internal stakeholders, including Portfolio Managers, Facilities, and Reception.
  • Collaborate with community events teams to identify opportunities for synergy between internal and external initiatives.
  • Proven track record of leading and coordinating vendor teams across multiple locations
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels
  • Creativity and innovation in designing engaging employee experiences
  • Proficiency in event planning software, budgeting, and performance analysis tools
  • Understanding of corporate communications principles and best practices
  • Strategic thinker with a bias for action and a focus on continuous improvement.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and productivity software, including Outlook, Word, Excel, Quip, Asana, SmartSheet, and SharePoint.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $66,800/year in our lowest geographic market up to $142,800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
