Job Summary
Under general supervision, collects soiled linen from user area soiled linen utility rooms and transports soiled linen carts to primary hold area.
- Transports clean linen to user areas on a route scheduled basis.
- Stocks and restocks clean linen as required, assists truck driver with the loading of soiled linen carts and unloading of clean linen carts.
- Interacts with user area nursing staff to resolve routine related problems.
- Keeps department Leader or Supervisor advised of any reported linen problems.
- Maintains neatness and cleanliness of clean and soiled user area utility rooms.
- Performs other duties as assigned by department Supervisor.
- Responsible for the proper performance of assigned duties under general supervision, including the attainment and maintenance of production and quality standards.
Qualifications:
1. High school diploma or equivalent.
