Salary
FUCHS offers a competitive salary commensurate with experience in a similar position. The salary range for this position is $120,000 - $145,000 per year, but actual salary will vary depending upon a new hire’s experience and qualifications as well as internal equity. Incentive program according to the Fuchs Lubricants Sales Manager plan.
Your Responsibilities
The Sales Manager reports to the Vice President of Sales – Specialty Division and is responsible for providing leadership to the sales group throughout the United States (except the West Coast States); carrying out development of sales representatives with specific focus on account management; developing new business and sales closing techniques. He/she is supporting the Vice President of Sales with input on strategic account management and divisional customer analysis; and sales P&L responsibilities.
The Sales Manager ensures that the Sales Team is focusing mainly on the target segments of the Specialty Division (Food & Beverage, Construction, Cement, Silicone Greases / Small Pack, Packaging Material and Sugar Cane). He / she collaborates closely with the respective Global and Local Business Segment Leaders.
Supervisory Responsibility
The position has 9 direct reports.
Travel
Approximately 30% - 50% within the territory.

Qualifications We Are Looking For
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Chemistry, or Business.
- At least 6+ years of B2B sales experience in industrial consumable products required. Experience in the Lubricants or Chemical industries preferred.
- A minimum of 3 years‘ experience in a leadership role.
- CRM experience (Salesforce desired)
- Exceptional Leadership skills
- Demonstrated success in opening new business
- Solid understanding of direct selling concepts along with product and industry knowledge
- Ability to foster collaborative relationship across inter-company departments and divisions (Business Segment leaders)
- Ability to travel overnight when needed
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
