DESCRIPTION:
Duties: Work as a trader assistant in the Equity Derivatives Middle Office team supporting trading businesses (stock, FX, listed derivatives and equity derivatives) including providing control and support to the North American and Latin American Flow Equity Derivative trading desks. Responsible for maintaining the control environment, trade capture, lifecycle maintenance, corporate action processing, complex product booking and processing, implementing complex (equity derivative) trading and operational support architecture and assist in testing release of complex equity derivative pricing and trading technology systems. Responsible for equity derivatives transactions such as listed options, Over-The-Counter (OTC) options, index futures, FX forwards, and interest rate swaps. Liaise with traders and counterparties to ensure accuracy in trade capture, including input trade tickets in JPM internal systems. Adjust derivative products upon the announcement of corporate actions. Support lifecycle management and events processing for full population of derivative positions. Evaluate profit and loss when performing unwinds, index rebalancing, basis swap reset and valuation. Analyze risks (greeks) and investigate any failures, mismatches or errors in the trade capture process. Assist the launch of new products by applying product expertise and knowledge. Provide support or resolve any ad hoc queries such as trade and confirmation details arising from traders, counterparties, clients, Regulatory Authorities, and other departments
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum education and experience required: 3 years of experience in the job offered or as a Trading Services, Trade Lifecycle Associate, Sales Auditor Analyst, or related occupation.
Skills Required: Requires experience in the following: expiry, early exercise and assignment processing for US listed options; validating profit and loss and delta on new option bookings; Trade parameters and lifecycle events of listed options; identifying changes required on listed and Over-The-Counter options as a result of corporate actions; standard equity derivative parameters for US and Latam markets; identifying risk and impact of trade support tasks in order to properly prioritize; priority listed and over-the-counter option infrastructure to drive and test technology changes.
Job Location: 383 Madison Ave, New York, NY 10179. Telecommuting permitted up to 40% of the week.
Full-Time. Salary: $113,000 - $131,000 per year.
