Purpose:
The Business Intelligence Developer assists the Lead Business Intelligence Developer in designing and developing data solutions that support business decision-making processes. This role is a subject matter expert in SQL, data aggregation, Power BI (or similar Business Intelligence tool), and managing requests for both internal and external clients.
Responsibilities:
PANTHERx Rare Pharmacy offers flexibility only to eligible employees to work hybrid or remotely without compromising work performance, productivity, or team collaboration. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers and phones.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk, hear, and see. The employee frequently is required to sit, stand, and walk; use hands and fingers, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms and see a computer screen. Purpose:
The Business Intelligence Developer assists the Lead Business Intelligence Developer in designing and developing data solutions that support business decision-making processes. Responsibilities:
- Designs, develops, and maintains data solutions that support business intelligence requirements.
- Collaborates with stakeholders to understand their data needs and develop appropriate solutions.
- Performs data analysis and develops data models that support data-driven decision-making.
- Develops and maintains ETL processes to move data between systems and integrate data from various sources, particularly with SQL.
- Creates and maintains reports and dashboards using Power BI and other BI tools.
- Writes measures and calculated columns using the DAX language.
- Ensures data accuracy, integrity, and consistency by implementing appropriate data quality measures.
- Troubleshoots and resolves data-related issues.
- Collaborates with other team members to develop best practices and ensure consistent standards are maintained.
- Manages requests for data from internal and external clients, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality results.
- Bachelor’s degree in mathematics, IT, or related fields.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in business intelligence development, data warehousing, or related fields.
- Strong SQL skills and experience with data aggregation and data modeling.
- Experience with Power BI and other BI tools.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders across the organization.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Experience with data warehouse design and implementation.
- Familiarity with specialty pharmacy or healthcare data
- Experience with Python or R Studio.
- Experience with Spark and/or Databricks.
