Ellie is looking for a talented Creative Marketing Manager to help oversee and execute strategic marketing initiatives that make a significant impact on our brand’s growth and success with a focus on design, communications and social media management.
Reporting directly to the VP, Commercial Growth, this role will manage internal workstreams, approvals, and agency partnerships to deliver impactful marketing outcomes partnering with the marketing team to drive the visual and storytelling elements of our brand. The Marketing Manager will play a key role in translating the strategic direction set by senior leadership, executives and medical advisors into actionable and measurable marketing efforts, with support from our marketing agency and vendor partners.

The Marketing Manager will play a key role in translating the strategic direction set by senior leadership, executives and medical advisors into actionable and measurable marketing efforts, with support from our marketing agency and vendor partners.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Integration: Execute marketing initiatives under the direction of the VP, Commercial Growth with a foundational knowledge of Ellie Diagnostics’ industry, business goals, product and growth strategies.
- Project & Workflow Management: Coordinate internal marketing tasks, schedules, and deadlines to facilitate efficient execution of lead gen and brand awareness campaigns.
- Internal Project Coordination: Manage the internal review and approval process, facilitating feedback from key stakeholders to ensure alignment and prompt responses that support the timely execution of marketing initiatives.
- Campaign Coordination: Collaborate with the VP, Commercial Growth, and agency partner to implement, track, and optimize marketing campaigns, ensuring consistent brand messaging and alignment with commercial growth objectives.
- Agency and Vendor Partnership Management: Manage day to day relationships with partners, to ensure seamless collaboration, efficient project management, and strategic alignment on branding, digital marketing, graphic design, HubSpot, website development, campaign planning, video development, and paid advertising initiatives.
- Social Media: Manage our content creators to roll out content aligned with company goals and launch our brand voice while increasing engagement across platforms. Assist in building out media schedule with strategic direction from VP Commercial Growth. Generate monthly reports that track and analyze social media performance metrics with actionable insights to improve strategies.
- Brand Management Support: Assist in maintaining and evolving the brand strategy, leveraging knowledge of brand management and graphic design to create internal content as well as coordinate with brand marketing agency/ vendor partners to ensure cohesive execution of marketing plans.
- Customer Engagement: Assist in rolling out and monitoring marketing strategies to grow existing customer base loyalty and engagement.
- Performance Tracking & Reporting: Monitor and report on campaign performance, gathering insights to support data-driven decision-making with an eye on continuous improvement.
- Conferences: Schedule, prepare and occasionally attend a variety of conferences to grow brand awareness and lead generation.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner with executives, medical advisors, and other key departments and agency partner/vendors to ensure consistent and aligned messaging across all initiatives, maintaining close communication and under the strategic direction of the VP Commercial Growth.
- Budget: Support the building, management and allocation of the annual marketing budget, tracking expenditures to ensure cost-efficiency and high-quality results.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in a marketing role, ideally in animal health, animal diagnostics, healthcare or laboratory-related industries.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a dynamic environment.
- Experience in graphic design (e.g., Adobe Creative Suites: Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and social media strategy B2B (TikTok, Instagram, Facebook & LinkedIn)
- Experience in website design (wordpress).
- Knowledge of SEO and paid advertising across platforms (google & META, LinkedIn).
- Experience in email marketing (HubSpot).
- Proven ability to understand and align with strategic business objectives.
- Experience in managing agency partner relationships and coordinating cross-functional feedback and approvals.
- Working knowledge of brand strategy and cross-channel marketing execution.
- Tools: Proficiency with marketing platforms and project management tools (e.g., Monday.com, HubSpot) preferred.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills are required, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
