Characteristic Duties And Responsibilities

  • Develop and demonstrate knowledge and understanding of study contracts and contract mechanism, study proposal and protocol, deliverables, and task schedules. Contribute ideas and assist with developing solutions to problems pertaining to the project.
  • Lead, or assist with, the development and oversight of project timelines. Monitor the progress of deliverables and milestones based on the project timeline. Communicate observed progress and any problem areas with internal colleagues and/or external collaborators.
  • Coordinate internal and external meetings, including conference calls and conferences:
    • Meeting resources/logistics (room/venue, catering, equipment, etc.)
    • Travel arrangements
    • Meeting and/or presentation materials
  • Participate in internal and external meetings (some travel may be required):
    • Take meeting minutes, develop meeting summaries and resulting task lists for attendees
    • Communicate status of assigned tasks and/or deliverables
    • Triage questions and concerns as needed
  • Work closely with other internal groups (analytic, programming, and investigators). Initiate work on deliverables and tasks that require input/feedback from these groups, and organize process and follow up.
  • Contribute to the development of project and/or program area SOPs.
  • Communicate professionally and effectively, with little oversight, with various groups and in various settings; ensure sensitivity of information provided.
  • Develop and utilize training and leadership skills; assist other project support team members to develop project knowledge.
  • Perform administrative duties, such as filing, copying, and shipping.
DOPPS

  • Assist with the data collection activities of the project:
    • Participate in the recruitment of study sites in allocated countries
    • Prepare and ship data collection materials
    • Ensure compliance of study protocol at study sites and internally
    • Perform data entry tasks of receivables
    • Assist with facility payments and honorariums
DCC/TRANSPLANT

  • Assist with the grant writing process:
  • Compile and assist with the adaptation of boilerplate text
  • Assist with compilation of appendices
  • Inventory management for clinical sites; monitor inventory levels, bio-sample label production, coordinate and ship protocol specific material.
  • Assist with management of study website (i.e., user access & accounts).

HP3

  • Prepare and review monthly progress reports, cost reports, and other administrative reports.
  • Facilitate responding to external data requests, i.e. from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS).
  • Assist with the proposal development process as needed.

General administrative supervision is received from the Project Coordinator. Close collaboration is expected with the project support team.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree with at least two (2) years of related work experience, or an equivalent combination of education and related work experience
  • Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multi-task
  • Demonstrated ability to adapt to changing and/or competing assignments and priorities
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, both formal and informal
  • Demonstrated awareness of audience and ability to adapt communication and/or presentation skills accordingly
  • Demonstrated ability to provide exemplary customer service
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
  • Proficiency with all Microsoft Office applications

Desirable Qualifications

  • Non-profit experience
  • Health research background

Annual Salary Range

$41,900 – $63,600

This position is classified as non-exempt according to FLSA guidelines
