UM Analyst & Support Coord

Shift: Day

Working Hours: M-F 8-5; onsite

Summary:
Manages and supports data collection, production and utilization metrics collection and analysis, team communication, analysis/report generation and documentation control of activities associated with specific functional/operational tasks of the Utilization Management department. Assists with patient data collection, pre-certification for inpatient hospitalizations. Coordinates and performs support functions of department operations, procedures and resources to facilitate organizational effectiveness and efficiency. Provides telecommunications support for the utilization management functions for the hospital. Assists Director by creating systems, compiling and analyzing information, developing and compiling reports, problem solving, monitoring trends, deviations and managing delegated programs for the System UR Department. Duties include: purchasing, supply management, scheduling & timekeeping, competencies, and mandatory assignments for System UR. The position requires ability to perform as a self-starter, with motivation to consistently produce high quality results.

Other information:
Must have excellent interpersonal, problem solving, and customer service skills. Must have extensive knowledge of PowerPoint, Excel, Access and Power Point software. Good listening skills is a must. Maintains strong professional interpersonal relationships. High sense of accountability and responsibility. Must be able to handle cross training tasks, shifting priorities to meet deadlines. Bachelor’s degree or experience commensurate with Bachelor’s degree preferred.

This job will be authorized 80.00 hours bi-weekly.
