What You’ll Do:

  • Pick up guests in a 14-passenger van and lead them on a tour through some of the best local craft breweries in Burlington, including Goodwater, Queen City, and Frost Beer Works, and teach them all about the history and science of beer
  • Create an engaging, fun, and educational experience while ensuring safety and promoting responsible consumption

Your Schedule:

  • Shifts are 5 hours
  • Flexible hours that work around your schedule
  • Great addition to an existing job
  • Current guides across all our cities average 5-15+ hours per week
  • Our busiest time for tours is Thursday - Saturday

Requirements:

  • Passion for and interest in craft beer and breweries
  • Evening and/or weekend availability
  • Ability to manage time effectively
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to comfortably navigate city roads in a 14-passenger van
  • Valid Driver’s License with a Clean Driving Record (No DUIs)
  • 21 years or older

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Cicerone or BJCP Knowledge and/or Certification
  • Home brewing or beer industry experience
  • Previous tour guide, theater, and/or improv experience

Compensation & What You’ll Receive:

Physical Requirements: You will be required to safely operate a motor vehicle. This includes the ability to sit for durations of up to 60 minutes at a time while driving. You will be required to stand and walk for durations of at least 45 minutes at each tour stop and you will also need the mobility to pour beer from pitchers to glasses at various locations.
