Job Summary

The HR Associate will provide strong administrative support across various human resources programs and activities for the corporate office. The ideal candidate will be adept at managing a diverse array of tasks autonomously. Exceptional organizational skills, meticulous attention to detail, and a continuous improvement mindset are essential attributes for this role. This position will manage below responsibilities for both the corporate office and for the Leadership Development Program.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage data entry for corporate employees in partnership with the corporate HR team, including any change to an employee's status. Submit changes in a timely manner and with key attention to accuracy.
  • Facilitate the onboarding process for new employees and transferees, including creating new hire packs, processing new hire paperwork (e.g., I9), ensuring ID badges are available, creating employee files, conducting orientations, and assigning relevant TU trainings (e.g., emergency preparedness).
  • Support the offboarding and transfer processes for employees, including sending employee files, moving files to the terminated section, and archiving employee records.
  • Support payroll audits and manage other yearly corporate audits as they arise
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure proper record retention for all department documents, including weekly filing, regular file audits, archiving, retrieval, and destruction of records as necessary.
  • Manage the Corporate HR Calendar and Mailbox, and coordinate communications from the Corporate HR mailbox with members of the corporate HR team.
  • Support the Corporate HR team with the summer internship program and other corporate office initiatives.
  • Manage regular reports for the HR team.
  • Maintain and create, where necessary, standard operating procedures (SOPs) for all critical processes.
  • Protect and maintain the privacy of employee personnel records including, but not limited to, personal and compensation information about employees.
  • Identify and implement improvement opportunities across HR processes.
  • Assist with special projects and department objectives and initiatives.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Education/Experience:

  • Minimum of a High School diploma
  • Higher education degree in related field preferred
  • Demonstrated professional experience in an administrative or human resource's role.

Skills/Competencies:

  • Organized with the ability to prioritize and multitask
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent communications skills, including interpersonal and writing skills
  • Ability to build effective relationships and provide superior customer service
  • Strong process improvement mindset with the ability to streamline processes, drive results, and present findings to management
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
