JOB SUMMARY:
The Junior Copywriter will create engaging and creative content for various platforms, including advertisements, social media, and websites, using humor and clever language to capture audience attention and enhance brand messaging in the Gen Z and AAPI markets.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Ideate and concept for multiple projects including social media, digital, experiential, and TV/OLV
- Write copy across multiple platforms including social media, digital, TV/OLV, and presentations
- Help assist and support the other team members in the creative department
- Exhibit a clear understanding of the brand’s tone of voice
- Edit and proofwork to ensure tone, style, and brand consistency are met across all content
- Support projects from development to delivery
- Ensure client’s feedback is applied to revisions
MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- 0-2 years of work experience as a copywriting intern or Jr copywriter at an agency or client setting.
- Knowledge of AAPI and Gen Z audiences strongly preferred
- A clear and in-depth understanding of social media trends and best practices
- Strong conceptual skills
- Understands AI and other innovative tools to help with work processes and ideation
- Strong attention to detail.
- Great people-person.
- Ability to prioritize and multitask
- Demonstrate initiative, flexibility, sound judgment, and a positive attitude.
- Computer knowledge required (i.e., Microsoft Office Suite—PowerPoint, Excel, and Word).

HYBRID WORK MODEL:
- IW Group has adopted a hybrid work model. Managers set their own in-office schedule, but team members are required to work in-office at least twice per week.
- While performing the responsibilities of this role, the employee will spend most of the time working indoors, in the IW Group office, client office or other identified location.
- This role may require extended work hours (including nights and weekends) to complete certain projects, with or without advance notice.
- This role may require work outside of the office (e.g., client events) or travel outside of the local work area (e.g., client locations).
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
