YOUR ROLE IN CREATING GERONIMOMENTS
In this role, you’ll be a key part of our team, ensuring that every guest leaves with a lasting impression. Your voice matters here—use it to build the future, make an impact, and continuously improve the guest experience.
As the Night Auditor, you are responsible for balancing the revenue and expense transactions, which occurred during the day at the hotel. You are responsible for the overall operations and appearance of the front desk of a hotel. You are responsible for attending to the needs of guests, especially during check-in and check-out. You are the number one, frontline person whose service determines a guest's experience.
WHAT YOUR DAY WILL LOOK LIKE
- Greets every guest that is encountered.
- Assist and accommodate all guest needs within your capabilities.
- Posting of room charges, taxes and all other revenues to guest accounts.
- Transfer charges and deposits to master accounts.
- Verifies all account posting and balances.
- Tracks room revenues, occupancy percentages, and other front office statistics.
- Prepares a summary of cash, check, and credit card activities.
- Summarizes results of operation for management. Completes proper filing and reporting of statistics.
- Understands principles of auditing, balancing and closing out accounts.
- Knows how to operate property management system and other front office equipment.
- Understands and knows how to perform check-in and check-out procedures.
- Handles and resolves guest complaints.
- Uses proper mail, package and message handling procedures.
- Demonstrates good communication skills.
- Uses proper telephone etiquette.
- Writes legibly. Sends and receives faxes and copies.
- Performs Manager on Duty functions.

- High school diploma or equivalent
- Excellent communication skills and professional attitude
- Effective conflict management and decision making
- Ability to use a variety of computer applications
- Knowledge of Opera system
- Previous experience in customer service
MANDATORY REQUIREMENT
- U.S. Work Authorization (required).
