Responsible for maintaining a high level of cleanliness in all area of the Casino public and office areas

Qualifications

Education

High school diploma or the equivalent.

Sweeps and cleans carpets, polishes furniture, marble glass, brass tile, etc.

Vacuums public and office areas as assigned.

Cleans Slot Machines in public areas

Cleans restrooms, including scrubbing toilets, sinks, sweeping and mopping floors.

Empties and cleans ashtrays and trashcans and takes trash to the designated area.

Ensures that supplies and paper products are restocked.

Enforces all company and departmental policies and procedures.

Participates in departmental brainstorming sessions.

Other duties as assigned.

Ability to meet company's production and quality standards.




Work may require evening, early morning, and week end schedules. Must be 21 years of age or older and able to maneuver in casino areas, up and down stairs and reach above shoulder level. Able to push, pull and carry up to 75 pounds. Must be able to work in a fast paced environment and able to tolerate areas containing secondary smoke and high noise levels. Must be able to stand for extended periods of time.

Physical Requirements

Specialized Work Experience



Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills required. Must be able to understand, communicate and direct customers. This is normally acquired through a high school diploma or equivalent.

Must be able to present a well-groomed appearance.

Must be able to read labels on chemical bottles. Must be able to tolerate cleaning chemicals without developing an allergic reaction.

Must be able to work on a step ladder and possess the ability to stand, bend, stoop, twist and turn in the performance of job duties.
