Description:

We are hiring a forward-thinking Vice President of Human Resources to lead our HR function and contribute strategically to organizational success. This role is ideal for an experienced HR generalist with a proven ability to oversee experts in specialized HR areas while maintaining a holistic view of department operations. The VP will focus on workflow design, process improvements, and the seamless execution of projects that align with business goals.

As a critical thinker with high attention to detail, the VP will use their strategic mindset to ask the right questions, assess complex scenarios, and make sound decisions that impact the organization positively. This role requires a proactive leader who excels in managing competing priorities, inspiring teams, and delivering impactful results through thoughtful judgment and operational efficiency.


Business Hours

Monday – Friday 8:30AM – 5:30PM

  • Based upon business needs, our positions may require working flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.

This is hybrid-remote position based in Anaheim Hills, CA. with the opportunity to work 2 days in-office and 3 days working remote from home.

Requirements:

Minimum Requirements

  • HR certification, either PHR / SPHR or SHRM-CP / SHRM-SCP or equivalent or ability to obtain.
  • 5+ years of progressive HR-related experience, including oversight of multiple functions such as talent management, talent development, employee relations, coaching/training, compliance, compensation, and organizational development.
  • 3+ years in a leadership role, managing teams of professionals and collaborating with senior leadership.

Must meet one of the following education requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree.
  • High School Diploma or equivalency and 4 years of HR-related experience in addition to the minimum required above to replace the Bachelor’s degree.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s degree or equivalent experience.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Proficient in all applicable MS Office programs (i.e., Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, etc.).
  • Demonstrated ability to design, implement, and optimize workflows and processes, especially in environments focused on scalability and efficiency.
  • Proven experience managing complex, cross-functional projects from inception to completion, with measurable outcomes.
  • Track record of applying analytical skills and sound judgment to address challenges and recommend strategic solutions.
  • Experience leading change initiatives, particularly in areas such as mergers, restructuring, or large-scale process improvement.
  • Familiarity with legal and compliance requirements related to HR operations, with experience in ensuring adherence to employment laws and regulations.
  • Ability to align HR strategies with organizational objectives and anticipate future business and workforce needs.
  • Capacity to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and respond effectively to change or uncertainty.
  • Demonstrated ability to exercise sound judgment and discretion, especially when navigating complex or sensitive issues.
  • Ability to think creatively and implement forward-thinking HR solutions to enhance operations and employee experiences.
  • Ability to view HR processes and challenges within the broader organizational context and create integrated, sustainable solutions.
  • High level of emotional intelligence to navigate interpersonal dynamics, manage conflict, and lead with empathy.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Lead efforts to evaluate, streamline, and enhance department processes, leveraging technology and best practices to drive continuous improvement and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with SVP HR to ensure that HR strategies support long-term business goals and align with overall operational plans.
  • Manage a team of HR specialists and subject matter experts, providing strategic direction while empowering them to excel in their areas of expertise.
  • Foster a collaborative environment that encourages innovation and high performance while building leadership capacity within the HR team.
  • Oversee key HR initiatives, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with business needs.
  • Act as the driving force behind complex, multi-stakeholder projects, balancing detail orientation with a focus on overarching goals.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor by asking insightful questions, analyzing situations thoroughly, and making informed recommendations.
  • Identify risks and opportunities, proposing solutions that align with organizational priorities and mitigate potential challenges.
  • Monitor and analyze HR metrics to inform decision-making and identify areas for improvement.
  • Partner with leaders to assess organizational needs and implement scalable solutions for talent management, compliance, and engagement.
  • Maintain a high standard of accuracy and attention to detail in all HR operations, ensuring compliance with legal requirements and industry standards.
  • Build strong relationships with managers and team members across the organization to drive alignment and collaboration.
  • Communicate complex HR concepts clearly and effectively to a variety of stakeholders.
  • Act as a liaison between leadership and HR experts, ensuring alignment on priorities and fostering trust.
  • Stay informed on HR trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to keep the organization at the forefront of innovation.
  • Proactively identify opportunities to enhance the employee experience and improve organizational outcomes.
  • Lead initiatives to adapt to changing business needs while maintaining a focus on long-term sustainability.
  • Complete understanding and active application the Exceptional Experience Guide expectations.
  • Must be able and available to work a “hybrid” schedule, per business operations requirement, as needed.
  • Additional duties and responsibilities, as assigned.

Pay Scale: Min $136,400 / Mid. $175,100 / Max $213,800* per year

  • Actual compensation will be based on geographical location, work experience, education and/or skill level.
