IT Logistics Specialist 1

Expected Pay Range: $18 - $22/hour
Summary and Scope
The IT Logistics Specialist is responsible for inventory of all information technology devices and supplies in the Deployed Resources warehouses. The Specialist will track all IT devices between multiple warehouse facilities, ship and receive products, and ensure all devices meet quality standards. The ideal candidate has strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Essential Functions
- Ship and receive IT inventory.
- Quality assurance of any packages shipped from or received by the yard.
- Ensure all items are entered and categorized the same between warehouses.
- Perform physical count of inventory on job sites and at facilities.
- Ensure inventory is stored properly for inventory type.
- Ensure physical counts are recorded in DRAT; reconcile inaccurate information.
- Search inventory, fetch equipment, and transfer equipment between other warehouses.
- Track and manage donation forms for out of warranty and expired devices.
- Create reports as necessary.
- Assist other personnel in day-to-day operations such as labeling boxes.

Skills and Specifications
- Proficiency in MS Word, MS Excel, and MS Outlook
- Knowledge of operating standard office equipment
- Basic computer skills
- Knowledge of warehouse/inventory management principles and best practices
- Excellent communication skills – written and verbal
- Ability to prioritize projects and strong problem-solving skills
- Good research skills, highly organized, and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to speak, read, and write English
Required Education and Experience
- High School Diploma (or equivalent) required; Associate degree desired
- 3+ years’ logistics experience, to include:
- IT logistics
- Warehousing
- Inventory control
- Shipping/receiving
- 1 year of experience in manual labor
Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk, see, hear, sit for extended periods, stand, walk, engage in repetitive motions, and use hands and fingers to manipulate objects, tools, or controls. May lift and carry materials and equipment weighing up to 25 pounds.
Expected Hours of Work
The ability to work flexible hours including nights, holidays, and weekends will be required based on contract needs. It is expected for this position to attend regular meetings during typical work hours in Eastern Standard Time as well as meetings as needed for assigned projects in other time zones.
Work Environment
This job operates in office, field, and warehouse environments. We operate 24/7/365, inside and outside, in all weather conditions. This role routinely uses heavy equipment and is required to use and wear standard PPE, which will be provided by the company. There is an expectation of clear communication in English both written and orally.
Travel
This position requires up to 30% travel. Travel is dependent on contract load. The ability to travel to job sites and be away for extended periods of time based on contract needs is required. Short notice travel is required with 24-48 hours’ notice.
Work Authorization
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
- Must be able to travel within the Continental United States (CONUS)
Must pass a drug test, motor vehicle record check, occupational health physical and lift test (if applicable), credit check (if applicable), and a background check upon accepting a conditional offer of employment.
- Must possess a valid driver's license. Have/maintain a clean driving record.
