Salary range: The posted UC salary scales (https://www.ucop.edu/academic-personnel-programs/compensation/index.html) set the minimum pay determined by rank and step at appointment. The salary range for this position is $127,000 - $333,700. This position includes membership in the health sciences compensation plan (https://www.ucop.edu/academic-personnel-programs/_files/apm/apm-670.pdf), which provides for eligibility for additional compensation.

POSITION DESCRIPTION

Department of Human Genetics

The Department of Human Genetics at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA is seeking physicians with experience in the evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of patients with pediatric and adult genetic disorders for clinical faculty positions in Medical Genetics. Candidates who are ABMGG board certified or eligible will join an existing experienced faculty with established expertise in clinical and biochemical genetics. Opportunities are available for clinical research, clinical trials, and collaboration with basic science researchers. Our clinical genetics programs are supported by dedicated genetic counselors, specialized nurses, dieticians, and social workers.

QUALIFICATIONS

Basic qualifications

Candidates must possess an M.D. degree or equivalent and must be board-certified or -eligible with the American Board of Medical Genetics and Genomics. Candidates must also be eligible to obtain a medical license in California.
