The Project Manager is responsible for coordinating all project activities supporting the Vice President of Operations & Planning focusing on the Physician Assistant Services Office, Business Planning, the opening of the new Ambulatory Surgery Center in White Plains and other related projects. This role will drive the execution of the full life cycle of projects including scope definition, planning, analysis, measurement, and communication. The project manager will manage and deliver complex enterprise projects ensuring they are delivered on time, on budget, and of quality. Leads meetings of project workgroups, including facilitating discussion around project deliverables, identifying action items and assigning to team members for follow up and completion, identification of threats and opportunities, and obtaining additional resources as needed.
The Project Manager will work with various leaders and stakeholders, must have excellent communication skills and a positive disposition. The Project Manager will be heavily involved in team building for success from a diverse group including Administration, Staff and Physicians. Candidates must be able to create excellent PowerPoint presentations, be proficient in analytics and presentation of data and have agility to work on several projects.

Required Criteria
- Bachelor’s degree
- 3-5 years of project management or related experience
Preferred Criteria
- Master’s degree
- PMP
- Six-Sigma / Lean
- 1-2 years of experience in healthcare industry, preferably clinical setting
- Demonstrated knowledge and proficiency in all phases of project development and design
- Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain excellent Hospital management, board, and professional staff relationships.
- Demonstrated leadership experience with specific goal performance record.
- Ability to successfully perform all aspects of managing a diverse project.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple initiatives.

Please note that all roles require on-site presence (variable by role). Therefore, all employees should live within a commutable distance to NYP.

Salary Range:
$97,000-$145,000/Annual
