Ministry Platform Coordinator

PURPOSE: To provide software training and support to all Calvary staff and ministries, as well as implement projects to keep the congregation informed of events at Calvary Church.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:
- Create events for promotion and/or registration for congregant and servant engagement.
- Create email templates and send out on behalf of ministries.
- Create online forms as requested.
- Provide registration maintenance as needed.
- Provide basic and advanced training in Ministry Platform for new staff, current staff, and ministry leaders.
- Provide support and troubleshoot issues as needed for all Calvary staff and ministries.
- Be the first level of contact between staff/ministries and the Ministry Platform team to communicate ministry needs and requests.
- Attend mandatory staff meetings, as well as various department meetings.
- Attend special event meetings (Easter, Freedom Celebration, Thanksgiving, Christmas, etc.) and represent Ministry Platform regarding servant registration, emails, etc.
- Generate data reports from Ministry Platform as needed.
- Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops and utilizing the Ministry Platform Knowledge Base.
- Work in collaboration with Calvary Church, the Ministry Platform team, and the Writing team to understand issues, and identify valuable areas of data analysis to support the church Executives directive and vision.
- Assess the growing and evolving environment for improvement, troubleshoot issues, and provide support as needed to staff, ministries, Ministry Platform team, and Writing team.
- Work effectively with multiple projects at one time and meet deadlines effectively.
- Communicate effectively with all levels of staff and ministries: MP team, writing team, executive pastors and their assistants, ministry leaders, servants, etc.
- Learn eSpace software and approve requests as needed.
- Provide support to Ministry Platform Data Coordinator as needed.
PREFERRED SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience (5+ years office/business experience).
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure, with minimal supervision, exercise discretion and use independent judgment.
- Ability to understand and maintain confidentiality.
- Be detail oriented and a team player.
- Database and general office software experience.
