Enterprise Charter School (ECS) Overview:

Enterprise is a public charter school in Buffalo, New York educating children in kindergarten through eighth grade. Position Overview:

Enterprise Charter School is seeking an Elementary and Middle School 7/8 Grade Social Studies Teacher for the 2024/2025 school year. The ideal candidate must have a Bachelor's Degree in Education or a Bachelor's Degree in history/social sciences.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• A demonstrated interest in impacting K-8 students in urban schools and communities.
• Academic expertise in History/Social Sciences.
• Understanding of formative and summative assessments, and expertise in i-Ready preferred.
• Demonstrated excellence in teaching.
• Skills in analyzing and using data to make instructional and behavioral decisions.
• Experience, knowledge and background related to NYS Next Gen Standards.
• Bachelor's Degree required, Master's preferred.

Enterprise Charter School offers a competitive salary, health benefits, and is a member of the NYS Teacher Retirement System. Position starts at $45,000 higher rate based on certifications and experience.
