We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated technician to join our dynamic team. This position requires a blend of technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and collaborative spirit to support innovative projects and maintain high operational standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with senior engineers and other cross-functional teams while driving projects to meet urgent timelines.
  • Strong ability to independently troubleshoot and resolve complex mechanical and electrical issues with minimal supervision.
  • Demonstrated initiative and resourcefulness in diagnosing and resolving mechanical and electrical faults in experimental setups, utilizing root cause analysis techniques.
  • Install, operate, or maintain mechanical products, equipment, systems or processes to meet requirements.
  • Confer with engineers or other personnel to implement operating procedures, resolve system malfunctions, or provide technical information.
  • Collaborate with production teams at other sites to ensure smooth integration of new processes and technologies.
  • Monitor process performance metrics, conducting root cause analysis for any deviations.

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years' experience in maintenance or mechanical work, preferably within an R&D or high-tech environment.
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting complex machinery and experience with preventive maintenance programs.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities with a focus meeting urgent timelines.
  • Ability to think innovatively to solve unique challenges associated with R&D projects.
  • Precision in diagnosing faults and executing repairs
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration across teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience operating a forklift, scissor lift, and other industrial equipment
  • Hands-on welding experience

Physical Demands & Work Environment:

  • Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to stand for prolonged periods. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.
  • Work Environment: Must have flexibility to work longer schedules to complete necessary tasks. Ability to wear PPE especially while working with chemicals and hazardous materials.
