Position Summary
The position serves as a central point of contact for student support within the Division of Nursing by managing admissions, data collection on enrollment, retention, and completion, and keeping the dean informed of trends. Responsibilities include assisting with student clearance for clinicals and graduation, providing summer advising, supporting international students, participating in recruitment events, and responding to inquiries. The role involves coordinating events and activities to foster community and belonging.
Program Management
- Point of contact for admission processes, i.e., applications, committee reports, communications, etc.
- Assist leadership with grants and other scholarship management.
- Works closely with the DON leaders to monitor grants and scholarship availability, ensuring allocation per guidelines.
- Utilize Banner, Slate, and other electronic databases for inputting, processing, and reporting program and student data.
- Monitor and process admission and graduation processes, including graduation clearance.
- Provide requisite program and student data to constituencies.
- Assist in developing, maintaining, and updating program information, policies, procedures, etc.
Customer Service
- Provides exemplar customer service to students, faculty, staff, and other constituencies.
- Represents the OSA during recruitment, information sharing, and other student-related events.
Information/Records Administration
- Establish and maintain student files.
- Monitor program and student records and files.
- Generate programmatic reports for accrediting bodies and other constituencies as required.
- Compiles, retrieves, and manages data in an organized manner.
- Provide regular updates to the Deans, Chief Nurse Administrator, and Chairs.
Performs other duties as assigned by the Dean(s) of the School of Health Sciences.

- Expertise in creating data-driven reports for stakeholders, including accrediting bodies.
- Familiarity with systems for managing immunization tracking.

- Additional Skills and Qualifications
- Master’s degree preferred.
