Description

Are you ready to provide the highest level of service to our internal customers? Our Commercial Loan processors are primarily responsible for preparing all documents needed to close a loan and protects the bank's security interest using the information supplied by the commercial banker! This is a fast-paced position within CCFBank, a successful financial institution with locations throughout Wisconsin and Minnesota. We are looking for a committed individual with excellent organization and attention to detail to support our internal customers and commercial bankers.

As a Commercial Loan Processor, you will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of the highest level of service to internal clients while maintaining an adherence to bank, state, and federal policies. The Commercial Loan Processor will interact with commercial loan processors, bankers, credit analysts, and commercial loan closers daily. The ideal candidate has the ability to provide strong attention to detail, works collaboratively with others, and has excellent communication skills. Primary Responsibilities

  • Reviews approved loans for conditions needed to be met prior to closing as it pertains to collateral, borrower, terms and conditions.
  • Reviews loan approval for appropriate authority
  • Orders title work, if applicable
  • Orders flood determinations and verifies adequate coverage when applicable
  • Complete UCC Search, if applicable and process initial UCC and MV1 filings.
  • Reviews and provides all information needed to protect the bank's security interest (i.e. serial numbers, VIN, copy of title, appraisal review, legal description).
  • Reviews all documentation ensuring compliance with legal, regulatory agency, and bank policy requirements.
  • Verifies insurance meets CCF standard requirements
  • Communicates with the commercial banker, borrower and/or closing attorney to ensure that all requirements have been met prior to closing and coordinates the final closing date.
  • Prepare loan documents for all Commercial loan types with attention to accuracy, compliance, policies and regulatory laws.
  • Researches and responds to customer, banker and other internal inquiries.
  • Assures compliance with all Bank policies, procedures and processes, and all applicable state and federal banking laws, rules, and regulations; adheres to Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) responsibilities that are specific to the position.
  • Interface loan to core system, disburse and upload documents to applicable software.
  • Track and follow-up any outstanding exceptions such as final title policies, recorded documents and Post UCC searched
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Education And Experience

  • Associate degree in accounting, finance, economics, or related field.
  • Note: Two (2) years of related experience may be considered in lieu of the associate degree.
  • Two (2) years of experience in the financial services industry.
  • Two (2) years of experience working in loan processing or customer service.
  • Previous experience in working with Commercial loans is desired.
