Digital Strategy Manager
National Sports Center
The Digital Strategy Manager oversees digital systems and external vendors responsible for the National Sports Center’s digital presence, ensuring that all digital channels are efficient, effective, strategic and aligned with firm growth and brand goals. Provides strategic expertise in marketing funnels, digital channels, audience targeting, automation, personalization and others to enhance engagement and visibility. Leverages data and collaborates with content, design, marketing planning, sales, and technology teams to optimize digital campaigns and channels, driving performance and maximizing results for both clients and prospects.
Digital Strategy Support:
- Acquires/strengthens fluency with the National Sports Center’s Hub Spot, the essential platform used by the Marketing team that manages customer lists, email communications, blogs, and other key marketing functions
- Conducts ongoing review and auditing of websites to ensure accuracy, updates, and other needed changes
- Provides support to the organization as needed with technical support by setting up Point of Sale systems, ticketing, assisting with event registrations, live streaming and other functions
- Provides strategic direction on marketing funnels, audience segmentation, and personalization, using data-driven insights to improve the effectiveness of digital channels.
- Manages the continuous improvement and makes recommendations for the organization’s website, leveraging data, UX knowledge, and technology trends to enhance usability and effectiveness for visitors and to support in achieving business outcomes.
- Continuously reviews and improves technology tools and digital platforms, ensuring they align with firm goals and enhance usability, visitor experience, and business outcomes.
- Creates and presents detailed reports on campaign performance, offering actionable insights to optimize future digital activities.
- Manages relationships with external vendors, ensuring the selection of the right tools and services to support digital marketing strategies.
Market Strategy Support:
- Assist in the development and execution of marketing strategies to align with the company’s business objectives, identifying target markets, segments, and value propositions.
- Support market research, competitive analysis, and customer insights to effectively position and differentiate our products in the market.
- Conduct market research to identify and analyze trends, competitors, and potential areas for growth. Use insights to inform marketing and business development strategies.
- Develops, executes, and optimizes a robust digital marketing strategy across platforms, including SEM, display advertising, paid social, retargeting, email marketing, and website performance.
- Proactively provide input on requirements for future events and programs.
Sales Enablement and Support:
- Develop and maintain a strong understanding of the company’s product portfolio.
- Establish automated sales solutions and provide ongoing support to sales team
- Ensure relevancy and accuracy of marketing content and assets to align with sales strategy.
- Measure and report on sales performance and market trends.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Collaboration Skills: The ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams to align marketing efforts with business objectives.
- Offers support to and completes other duties as assigned
Desired knowledge, skills, and abilities:
- Insights into optimizing processes and systems that can be translated into actionable steps
- Deep commitment to building high-trust relationships among Marketing team members and cross-functional colleagues
- Familiarity with a CRM platform (such as HubSpot), and apps within the Microsoft 365 suite, or a demonstrated interest in and ability to learn new digital tools quickly and well
- Familiarity with email marketing platforms, SMS platforms, integration with registration and ticketing tools, etc.
- Familiarity with digital marketing reporting
- Highly organized approach to all marketing tasks to ensure schedules, files, and expectations are in good order
- Motivation that is fueled by fast-paced work and a highly collaborative environment
- Ability to communicate with precision in written and verbal forms
- Strong understanding of sales and marketing principles.
- Strong knowledge of digital marketing, including SEO, SEM, social media, and email marketing.

Who You Are
- You have a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business, or related field required.
- You have 5+ years of demonstrated progressive digital marketing experience
- You have experience with CRM systems, Marketing Automation tools (Hub Spot and Customer Insights experience preferred), AI, Data Analytics
- You have a deep understanding of marketing funnels, customer journeys, and digital audiences.
- You have strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and act on complex data.
- You have excellent team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a cross-functional team.
- You have strong project management skills, able to balance multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- You have specialized knowledge of website platforms, development principles and processes, website vendor management, and content management systems.
- You have knowledge of SEO and SEM best practices.
- You have strong communication skills, with the ability to tailor communications according to the technical know-how and job responsibilities of the audience.
- You can establish and maintain effective working relationships with vendors and co-workers at all levels.
- You are proficient with computers, Microsoft Office (Word and Excel) and using various software packages
