Executive Assistant

Amazon is seeking an Executive Assistant to support Directors within AWS Global Deal Strategy and Programs (GDSP). This role requires attention to detail, solid organizational skills, and the ability to meet tight deadlines while juggling multiple requests across global teams. The Executive Assistant will act as a seamless extension of the leaders and will work closely with other Executive Assistants throughout the organization.
The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, an experienced planner with the demonstrated ability to respond effectively and efficiently while maintaining flexibility, composure, and confidentiality.
Role Responsibilities
- Manage multiple complex calendars across global time zones.
- Manage and submit expense reports.
- Coordinate domestic and international travel.
- Handle team offsites and meetings.
Key Job Responsibilities
- Proactively coordinate and engage with leadership in planning and organizing events, activities, and calendars.
- Management of complex calendars, scheduling requirements, and prioritization of executive tasks and appointments according to their importance, urgency, and relevance.
- Act as a liaison for direct reports and business stakeholders.
- Extensive travel coordination (international and domestic).
- Participate in the planning of events and drive key team activities (staff meetings, all-hands meetings, supply ordering).
- Work alongside other executive assistants within the organization and throughout AWS to drive best practices and cross-collaboration of efficiencies.

Working in a highly ambiguous environment, you will complete tasks and projects quickly and with little to no guidance, taking effective action without knowing the total picture. You will apply superior attention to detail, great organizational skills, and the ability to meet tight deadlines while juggling multiple critical requests. You will understand business priorities, demonstrate the ability to proactively anticipate needs, and drive improvements to build capacity for the leaders and their teams.
