Position Purpose

The North Carolina Football Club, the parent organization of the North Carolina Courage (first-division women’s pro soccer team playing in the NWSL) and North Carolina FC (second-division men’s pro soccer team playing in USL Championship League), is seeking a Team Administrator for North Carolina FC to assist with player experience, relocation, team operations, and team travel logistics to ensure support and resources are successfully given to uphold our team culture.

Job Responsibilities

  • Actively build strong partnerships with NCFC players, coaches, and office staff, ensuring open and robust communication.
  • Assist with implementation of programs and processes that enrich the day-to-day player experience.
  • Proactively make recommendations for, players, coaches, and front office staff on ways to improve player experience.
  • Active partner in creation and maintenance of a positive, inclusive, and supportive environment for players.
  • Work directly with nutritionist on staff to manage appropriate food needs of the team, create weekly meal schedules for players and staff, manage meal ordering, and maintain the meal database for players and staff as applicable.
  • Manage all coordination and logistics for team moves in and out of the area (flights, cars, SSN, phone, utilities), and general miscellaneous needs of the players as it relates to housing, travel, and general set up.
  • Assist international players with acclimating to the area with support in setting up personal and professional accounts.
  • Manager and coordinate all team travel logistics (air, ground, hotel, meals).
  • Assist the coaching staff with homestay programming needs and logistics.
  • Assist in filing monthly receipts for the team and staff.
  • Assist the Equipment Manager with miscellaneous tasks on and off the field during training and game days.
  • Assist with serving as a liaison between the front office and team regarding team operations and logistics.
  • Assist with serving as the visiting team point of contact, regarding time in market, training times, meals suggestions, tickets, etc.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

  • BA/BS degree and/or equivalent experience, 1-2 years in event coordination, project management and/or business administration. Sports team experience a plus.
  • Experience with multiple platforms for making travel arrangements.
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills.
  • High attention to detail with ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously and meet deadlines efficiently.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as a member of a team.
  • Excellent communication skills. Proficiency in languages in addition to English not required, but a plus.
  • Ability to work nights and weekends to support game day activities during the season.
  • Flexibility to travel upon request.
