At a Glance
Legrand has an exciting opportunity for a Business System Analyst to join the Data Power and Control Division on a REMOTE basis. The Analyst Reviews, analyzes, and evaluates internal stakeholder needs to create systems solutions that support overall business strategies. Document system requirements, defines scope and objectives, and creates system specifications that drive system development and implementation. You will function as a liaison between IT and users and have both business and technical expertise. Act as a bridge between business problems and technology solutions, providing insights that help improve processes and system efficiencies. Oversees the implementation process, ensuring smooth integration with existing systems while providing user training and support.
Main Job Duties
Education: BS/BA in business administration, computer science, information systems or a related field.

Main Job Duties
- Gathers requirements to understand business needs and document detailed requirements from project stakeholders.
- Map out current business processes identifying inefficiencies and areas for optimization.
- Function as salesforce administrator to help internal stakeholders with day to day usage and identify potential process improvements
- Develop system specifications, including functional and non-functional requirements, to design effective technology solutions that align with business goals.
- Evaluate the viability of proposed solutions by conducting cost-benefit analysis and considering potential risks.
- Work with IT teams to implement new systems or enhancements, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems.
- Participate in system testing phases to validate functionality and identify defects.
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure successful delivery of system implementation.
- Collaborate with sales enablement team to create and deliver training materials to ensure proper system usage and adoption.
Education: BS/BA in business administration, computer science, information systems or a related field.
Experience
- 4 – 7 years of experience in a medium to large business with revenue in excess of 100M preferred
- Experience as a Salesforce administrator required.
- SAP experience preferred.
- Understanding of a manufacturing companies preferred.
- Requires strong organizational and time management skills, close attention to detail and be able to effectively handle multiple priorities.
- Strong computer skills, proficient with word processing, spreadsheet and presentation software, e-mail, and meeting management software. Ability to use internet and web-based resources efficiently and effectively.
- Must have excellent verbal and written communications skills and be able to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization. Must be an effective listener, able to maintain focus extract necessary information and validate understanding of the information.
- Able to create effective reports, presentations, and business correspondence.
- Must possess excellent project management skills, including demonstrated ability to develop and manage to a project plan, establish priorities, work to deadlines, and control several projects at various stages of work.
