The Manager of People Operations will serve as the point person partnering with corporate leadership and employees in multiple overhead departments to deliver high-impact advisory support. With a focus on talent management, engagement, process improvement, and development, this position will be key in supporting the largest client group, the technology team, as it is key to the success and growth of our company. In this capacity, there are various short and long-term administrative duties and projects that require a detail-oriented, top-notch, savvy individual with an eye for continuous improvement.

This is a hybrid role that requires working in the New York corporate office at least three days per week.

People Operations Team:

People Operations is responsible for building a foundation for all team members to grow and make an impact at Capital Rx. We lead the development and execution of all talent acquisition, employee experience, and learning and development programs. The People Operations Business Partner supports our rapidly growing company and plays an integral role in continuing to scale it, drive people programs, and enhance people practices and culture.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Full day-to-day support, performance, and employee relations management, identifying and sharing insights to increase organizational efficiency, effectiveness, and support in managing key initiatives.
  • This individual will collaborate with talent acquisition, talent management, total rewards, and operations to ensure seamless People Ops support across the business and play a key role in maturing the function as a business partner to the Corporate organizations.
  • As the primary Business Partner for our largest client group, the Technology team, you will serve as their People Ops point of contact.
  • This role requires a deep understanding of the unique challenges and needs of a tech workforce within a scaling SaaS technology company.
  • Review, track, and document compliance with mandatory and non-mandatory training.
  • Leads and supports employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations.
  • Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations and recommends best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.
  • Regularly analyze the data and identify areas of opportunity in the current processes.
  • Updating all employee and contractor details throughout the employee lifecycle maintains the accuracy of HRIS and contractor management systems.
  • Manages people data to ensure we identify trends and recommend proactive solutions for employee performance, retention, development, and engagement.
  • Performs other duties as assigned, including team building, event planning, etc.
  • Assists with onboarding company employees.
  • Assist with triaging inbound inquiries and providing employee assistance as needed.
  • You will use your knowledge of various human resources functions and disciplines, including recruitment, compensation, benefits, learning, DE&I, talent management, organizational effectiveness, and employee relations, to provide tactical and strategic operations support.
  • Responsible for adherence to the Capital Rx Code of Conduct, including reporting of noncompliance.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required, master’s degree preferred
  • 7+ years of experience in Human Resources
  • Experience in the Tech industry is a must.
  • Experience supporting Finance and Sales Departments a plus
  • Experience with HRIS systems is required; UKG is preferred.
  • Demonstrated effectiveness in identifying needs and executing deliverables.
  • Sound judgment, problem-solving, and people management skills.
  • Ability to complete projects on time with minimal supervision, exceptional accuracy, and attention to detail.
  • Ability to foster teamwork and open communication at all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to work independently and the initiative to handle increasing responsibility over time.
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and professionalism on sensitive and privileged information.
  • Ability to prioritize and balance multiple complex projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment.
  • Deep personal ethics and integrity.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Extremely flexible and able to shift priorities easily.

Base Salary: $120,000 - $160,000
