The Old Globe Theatre is accepting applications from interested candidates for ongoing Production Assistant positions. Production Assistants work as part of the stage management department. Applicants should have experience backstage and in rehearsal rooms. Essential skills for this position include attention to detail, strong organizational skills, an ability to work within a team, and good interpersonal skills.

These are temporary positions which are filled on an ongoing, show-by-show basis. Hours can range from part-time to full-time, 5 to 6 days per week including overtime hours. Rate of pay is $19.89 per hour.

Current Shows:

  • House of India April 8 to June 8, 2025
  • The Janeiad May 21 to July 20, 2025
  • Deceived July 8 to September 14, 2025
  • Small September 2 to October 19, 2025

Ideal candidates will be interested in advancing skills toward a career in stage management, and will enjoy working as part of a team in a fast-paced environment to help support and facilitate the development of professional theatre productions.
