General Statement of Duties:
The Director of Clinic Services is responsible for supervising and overseeing all operational aspects of the Clinic Services department, including staffing needs, coordinating the clinical workflow in order to provide the most efficient, effective, safe, and comprehensive patient care, and overall clinic services. The Director will work with Physicians, midlevel providers, and clinical staff to increase the volume of clinical outpatient services, referral processes, patient flow, and maximize the productivity of each clinic location.
Essential Duties
- Directs, supervises, and coordinates all functions and activities of OrthoIndy clinics. Responsible for ensuring practices and procedures lead to efficient clinic services and support quality patient care. Responsible for clinic personnel policies and practices.
- Systematically evaluates the quality and effectiveness of processes, analyzing appropriate internal and external information to identify opportunities to collaborate with clinic staff, other departments, and the management team to maintain patient satisfaction.
- Compliance Standards – Ensures the accurate collection of office data and appropriate documentation in the EMR. Cooperates with medical and administrative staff to ensure compliance with standards and regulations. Promotes and monitors regulatory agency standards and customer service expectations.
- Employee Development – Responsible for interviewing and hiring. Implements corrective actions and conducts performance reviews. Develops and identifies educational programs designed to improve the knowledge, skills, and abilities of clinic staff.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in related field required; Master's degree preferred
- 2-4 years of direct experience with healthcare leadership required; 4-6 years of experience preferred
- Previous work experience and/or credentials or licensure in the clinical setting, such as Physical Therapy, Advanced Practice Provider, Registered Nurse, etc. preferred
- Certified Medical Office Manager certification or Certified Medical Practice Executive certification preferred
- BLS certification required
