IEH Laboratories, a Leader in Food Safety, is now accepting applications for the Laboratory Analyst – 12hr Rotational Night Shift position at its facility in Greeley, CO.
Ideal Candidates Will Possess The Following
– A BS or BA in the biological sciences or related field (required)
– Proficiency with data entry and computer applications
– Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
– Strong attention to detail
– Strong written and verbal communication skills
– Strong understanding of aseptic technique in the laboratory
Laboratory Analyst duties include: analysis of food samples for pathogens via PCR and immunoassay, various microbe enumerations, data entry, laboratory reporting, quality control, media preparation, and other duties as assigned.
The pay range for this position is $18.00 – $19.00 hourly (plus $2 night shift differential during night time hours). This is a full-time position eligible for the following benefits after a brief waiting period: medical, dental, vision, life/AD&D insurance, long- and short-term disability insurance, 401(k), health and dependent care FSA plans, employee assistance program, 15 days of paid time off per year for sick leave and/or vacation, 3 days paid bereavement leave, and 6 paid holidays per year.
This position operates in 12-hour rotational shifts from 8:30pm to 8:30am. The laboratory operates 24/7, so candidates must be willing to work some nights, weekends, and potentially some holidays.
