Description
National Forest Foundation (NFF) is pleased to offer an Exempt, Full-time Brand Manager to lead and elevate our brand. This key role will bring creativity and strategic planning to the role and work cross-functionally within the organization to design marketing campaigns, ensure brand consistency, and lead the growth of a brand that matters.

Position Function: The Brand Manager reports to the Chief Marketing Officer. The incumbent is responsible for managing the continued development of an impactful and meaningful brand that communicates the importance of why our work matters and inspires support. Additionally, the Brand Manager will lead the day-to-day management of the NFF brand through marketing campaigns, partnerships, and collaboration across the organization.
Position Duties and Responsibilities: The Brand Manager will:
Brand Strategy, Management, and Analytics (15%)
Compensation: The NFF offers competitive compensation and benefits and has recently implemented a new compensation program as part of our commitment to transparency. The salary range for this position will be in the $64,100 to $99,000 range and may be eligible for locality adjustment. Please note that the indicated salary range describes the full range for an incumbent in this position, new staff will generally start near the base end of the range. NFF is committed to internal salary equity.

Position Duties and Responsibilities: The Brand Manager will:
Brand Strategy, Management, and Analytics (15%)
- Collaborates with the CMO and others to create and execute comprehensive brand strategy.
- Establish brand guidelines and ensure consistency across the organization.
- Serves as a brand ambassador, training and guiding staff on brand standards and best practices.
- Utilizes performance tracking tools to evaluate key metrics and return on investment for brand initiatives.
- Performs additional duties as needed to support brand management and cross-functional collaboration.
- Develops and executes successful brand strategies based on comprehensive market research and data analysis.
- Develops and executes marketing strategies to effectively engage target audiences.
- Lead the successful delivery of comprehensive brand campaigns and initiatives that drive NFFs strategic priorities forward. These include, but are not limited to: Earth Month, National Forest Week, National Public Lands Day, and Year End Appeal.
- Maintain, with creative agency of record, ongoing lead generation campaign targeting key audiences for donor acquisition.
- Serve as primary point of contact for creative agency.
- Working in conjunction with the Media Relations Manager and Events Manager, develop and execute campaigns and events that establish and promote the NFF as the leader in forest conservation issues.
- Ideate and develop partnerships with brands to expand the NFF’s reach and awareness among target audiences.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify opportunities to expand existing partnerships in mutually beneficial ways.
- Establish partnerships within the conservation community to collectively promote the importance of public lands.
- Develop partnerships to expand the reach of NFF generated content.

Requirements
Education and Qualifications: NFF expects the Brand Manager to possess the following educational and experiential qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience with proven results managing brands on a national scale.
- Strong storytelling and strategic planning capabilities, with the ability to create compelling narratives that communicate complex issues with ease.
- Outstanding project management, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
- Proven leadership of brand initiatives from strategic brief to performance reporting.
- Experience collaborating across departments and external creative partners and influencing without authority.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational, and administrative skills.
- Strong writing skills, facilitation, and public speaking experience.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
- Drives brand campaigns by partnering closely with cross-functional teams, including Marketing, Development, Conservation, and Legal.
- Communicates brand positioning and strategic initiatives effectively to internal and external stakeholders.
- Builds and sustains strong relationships with company leadership and key partners.
- Must be a collaborative team member with a strong background in brand management and marketing.
- Thinks creatively about how to reach and engage target audiences.
- Uses data to help set strategy and make decisions about where to invest resources.
