Responsibilities
- Provide direct occupational therapy services under the supervision of licensed occupational therapists.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patients' needs and goals.
- Document progress and maintain accurate patient records.
- Collaborate with the therapy team to ensure coordinated and effective care.
- Educate patients and their families on therapeutic exercises and activities for continued progress.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in occupational therapy techniques and participate in professional development activities.
- Valid Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license in the state of Florida.
- Associate's degree from an accredited occupational therapy assistant program.
- Prior experience in a clinical setting preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
