Summary

In this role, you will drive the development and execution of sourcing strategies, including the introduction of a new indirect spend category, to deliver measurable value and foster contract commitment among Captis members. Leveraging existing processes and frameworks, you will innovate to build new solutions. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will create insights, reporting, and operational workflows to optimize managed spend. By engaging directly with members to understand their contracting priorities, you will craft a unified strategy that aligns with Vizient’s go-to-market approach and delivers impactful outcomes for all stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategies for program structure, processes, and long-term goals, including launching the indirect spend category.
  • Partner with Vizient Indirect Consultants to operationalize insights and reporting for managed spend and value realization.
  • Engage directly with members to assess contracting needs and tailor solutions for optimized outcomes.
  • Collaborate with customer success teams to align member interactions and program deliverables.
  • Implement tools or processes to enhance documentation of member interactions, ensuring transparency and shared understanding.
  • Collaborate with contracting teams to implement contracts, onboard members, and identify new business opportunities.
  • Facilitate council or panel meetings to gather feedback, influence decisions, and guide program strategies.
  • Lead the SME Advisory Panel to foster strong member connections and support the Indirects program.
  • Establish, track, and communicate program success metrics and achievements.
  • Contribute to business reviews with suppliers and members to strengthen relationships and ensure success.
  • Analyze program performance, identify improvement opportunities, and recommend process enhancements.
  • Monitor revenue, sales, and cost savings opportunities through market analysis and reporting.
  • Act as a strategic liaison and advisor, addressing member and supplier inquiries to drive program adoption.

Qualifications

  • Relevant degree preferred; advanced degree is a plus.
  • 7 or more years of relevant work experience required, including expertise in healthcare, indirect spend categories and supplier relations.
  • Proven experience in program management, strategy development, and stakeholder collaboration.
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in using tools and reporting systems to track metrics, identify opportunities, drive results, and support program optimization.
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and engage diverse stakeholders effectively.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
  • This position requires a hybrid schedule, with three days per week based in our Edina, MN office.
  • Willingness to travel.

Estimated Hiring Range

At Vizient, we consider skills, experience, and organizational needs in our compensation approach. Geographic factors may adjust the range estimate and hires typically fall below the top range. Compensation decisions are tailored to individual circumstances. The current salary range for this role is $102,400.00 to $168,800.00.

This position is also incentive eligible.
