Provides prompt and courteous food service to every guest who dines in restaurant. Takes and serves guests their food and beverage orders.

Physical Requirements

Specialized Work Experience

Greets guests in a friendly and courteous manner and ensures each guest has a dining room menu.
Ensures that orders are taken and delivered quickly, accurately and efficiently.
Maintains a clean and well-stocked workstation in accordance with established health and safety guidelines.
Returns to each assigned table periodically to ascertain whether additional items or service is desired.
Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills required. Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English. This is normally acquired through a high school diploma. Must have legible handwriting.
Visibility requires maintaining a professional appearance and providing a positive company image to the public.
Work may include weekends, nights, and early mornings.
Must be able to carry and balance service tray on shoulder.
Previous food service experience preferred.
Must be 21 years of age and be able to obtain all local, state and federal regulatory permits as required by position.

Follow lawful directions from supervisors.

Understand and follow work rules and procedures.

Participate in performance management.

Interact well with others and be a positive influence on employee morale.

Uphold the company’s non-disclosure and confidentiality policies and agreements.

Work evening, weekend and holiday work hours as required.
