LSG Sky Chefs with over 75 years of Catering history is hiring immediately for Full-Time team players to prepare products for our Airline, E-Commerce, and Retail customers. We are the world’s leading provider of end-to-end airline products and services with a fast-growing footprint in Convenience Retail and Subscription Food Service.

Description of Duties:

• Understands and fills requisition sheets for equipment and food, Decants.
• Kitting of all ingredients based on airline menu specifications.
• Items delivered by cart and hand to food prep stations.
• Have the ability to follow runner routes and understand individual work cell designs.
• Has to have full understanding of the KAN BAN system.
• Must be able to read and understand MPS & VPS.
• Must be able to lift 30 to 40 lbs. to shoulder height.

Job Skills or Qualifications:

• Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Accurately and quickly, diagnose complex problems.
• Skill level must include reading requisitions in English, must be able to stand and walk for long periods at a time.
• Works from requisitions, and verbal instructions.
• Knows location of all equipment and food.
• Completes paperwork as required.
• Must have excellent attendance and work performance.
• Must be able to work hours required for the position.
• Must be able to work under pressure.
• Must be able to work in refrigerated areas.
• Must be able to lift 30 to 40 pounds manually.

Eligible candidates must:

• Be 18 years of age and eligible to work in the United States
• Pass a background check and clear a drug screen
• Be able to stand for the FULL duration of the shift
• Be available to work in a 38-degree cold room, only when necessary
• Be a team player and work well with a diverse team from all over the world!
• Ability to comprehend verbal & written specifications in English
• Possess basic math skills
• MUST be able to work a Flexible schedule; This is a 24-hour operation, 7 days a week

Additional eligibility requirements and details:

• This is a Union Position- must be willing to pay union dues after 60 days
• Must be available to work a full-time position, including Weekends and Holidays as needed
• Must be able to complete the application/orientation process in English
• Ability to lift 25+ pounds occasionally, 50+ pounds frequently & 10+ pounds consistently. Bend/stoop & twist repeatedly & stand for 8 – 12 hours a day.
