Position Summary
Claims Rep position reporting to Chain Claims Supervisor, which includes reviewing, entering, and processing chain account invoices, as well as revising chain account accruals based on invoices received. Also provides customer service to chain accounts and support to sales teams.

Claims Rep position reporting to Chain Claims Supervisor, which includes reviewing, entering, and processing chain account invoices, as well as revising chain account accruals based on invoices received. Also provides customer service to chain accounts and support to sales teams.
Essential Job Functions
- Validate customer invoices for accuracy & input relevant payment details into accounting system to ensure proper financial coding (i.e., time frame, product type, expense type, dollar amount).
- Obtain all necessary supporting documentation for all invoices
- Enter validation to our accounting system for promotional expenses and ensure its correct at the time of
- Revise the accruals in our accounting system to actual as invoices are received for chain
- Revise the agreement validation lines supported by the promotional discounts entered in the sales system when late or missed promotion
- Review current claims aging reports to ensure timely payments to chain accounts or billing to
- Upload monthly accruals to each chain to accrue promotional
- Provide customer service to Customers, as
- Provide service & support to the Account Managers and Director, as
- Ad hoc projects (as needed).
- Advanced Excel, Outlook & Word
- SAP experience
- Accounting background
- Excellent verbal & written communication
- Positive attitude with a willingness to
- Must be a team player and able to work with other individuals in and outside the department (at various levels) in a positive
- Must be able to recognize and meet deadlines and prioritize and follow up
- Must be able to work independently with minimal
- Must be able to research, problem solve and identify solutions.
- Superior attention to
- High school diploma is required, bachelor's degree
