Service Lot Attendant

Job Summary: The Service Lot Attendant will be responsible for parking the cars on the lot in an orderly manner, moving cars. May be asked to move vehicles around the dealership and coordinate between departments.
Essential Functions:
- Inspecting cars for damage.
- Recording description of damages and listing missing items.
- Parking cars in the assigned area.
- Maximizing the use of space and maintaining the dealership lot.
- Assist with Tow In vehicles by taking descriptions of the vehicle and moving them.
- Close/Open gates/Doors, Move blockers, lock cars in lube areas, hang keys on board.
- Move overnight drop offs (includes new cars).
- Gas cars and test drive customer cars on occasion.
- Keeping lot organized and presentable at all times.
- Other duties may be assigned as needed.
Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid California state sales license
- Valid Driver’s license and safe driving record; required to have California within 30 days
- Ability to lift up to 30 pounds
- Ability to perform all essential functions of the job description
Preferred Qualifications:
- Excellent driving skills
- Excellent verbal communication and customer service skills
- Excellent time management skills
- Thorough understanding of traffic regulations, road signs, and routes
Physical Demands:
- Regularly stands, walks, sits; uses hands; reaches with hands and arms; talks and hears. Occasionally climbs or balances; stoops, kneels, crouches, or crawls; lifts up to 30 pounds.
- Physical ability to drive a vehicle for prolonged periods of time
Environment/Noise:
- Noise level is moderate.
