Job Summary
This position is responsible for performing preventive maintenance inspections and service on machines. Thoroughly cleans machines and machine parts, removing parts and reinstalling as necessary. Oils and lubricates moving parts on machines to ensure effective performance. Records and reports damaged, worn, or broken parts. Must abide by Company Safety Program and Policies, while performing duties safely. Consistent and reliable attendance is required.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Routine vehicle and equipment maintenance; drains engine and transmission oil, replaces lubricants and filters as needed, and checks tire pressure.
- Maintain service and repair logs on vehicles and equipment are maintained.
- Performs general cleanup of assigned areas and maintains neatness of shop area.
- Performs all work in accordance with schedules, policies, procedures and standards of quality and safety.
Education and/or Experience:
- High School Diploma or GED; and
- Some related experience and/or training; or have the aptitude to be trained on the essential functions of the job; or
- An equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:
- Valid driver's license. Must be insurable.
- Must be able to drive to off-site locations to work on equipment and trucks.
Skills and Abilities:
- Ability to regularly lift/move up to 10 pounds and able to use 35 pounds of force occasionally.

Candidate is required to meet the above qualifications, task frequency and PPE requirements.
