Payroll and Benefits Administrator

Salary: $24.00 to $26.00 hourly

Description

We are seeking a diligent Payroll and Benefits Administrator to join our team in the logistics industry, based out of Hawthorne, California. The role involves managing payroll and benefits for our employees, maintaining accurate records, and addressing any related inquiries. This position offers a contract to permanent employment opportunity.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing payroll operations for around 100 employees, ensuring accuracy and efficiency
• Regularly reviewing timecards, rectifying errors, and compiling reports related to overtime and meal penalties
• Utilizing Heartland software to finalize payroll procedures
• Managing benefits coordination, including aiding new employees with enrollment and addressing their inquiries
• Keeping abreast of HR laws to ensure compliance
• Assisting the HR team with various tasks as needed
• Carrying out auditing procedures and managing 401k - RRSP Administration
• Performing a variety of accounting functions and managing benefit functions.
  
  
  

Requirements

• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems.
• Understanding of 401k - RRSP Administration.
• Experience with About Time software.
• Able to manage Accounting Functions.
• Auditing experience.
