Geopolitics & Energy Analyst

Role Context

KSG is seeking applicants with a strong background in political, security, and economic risk analysis focused on the energy sector and its intersection with global geopolitics. This position will involve leading analyses for Knightsbridge’s diverse client base, with a particular emphasis on energy markets, geopolitical crises, and global security dynamics. The ideal candidate should have a proven track record of working within the energy sector, a deep understanding of political, commercial, economic, and security issues affecting energy markets, and the flexibility to deploy internationally as required.

Requirements

• Excellent knowledge of global energy markets, with expertise in geopolitical risks and security dynamics affecting energy supplies.
• Experience in government, energy sector analysis, wargaming, or as a diplomat, intelligence officer, or strategist is highly desirable.
• Excellent English language skills, with the ability to write and present in a clear and concise manner.
• Willingness and ability to travel internationally for in-country analysis and operations.
