As an Analyst, Financial Planning and Analysis at RXO, you're responsible for supporting the business by preparing financial reports, analyses and forecasts while working with key stakeholders to support the growth of RXO.

What your day-to-day will look like:

  • Generate, maintain, and ensure the accuracy of financial and operational scorecards for various lines of business as part of the daily/weekly/monthly financial review process; determine key drivers of over/under performance.
  • Act as the functional owner of the Business Intelligence (BI) environment that will provide key decision makers with visibility into the financial performance of their business and other operational KPIs.
  • Coordinate with IT and functional business owners to develop a database capable of producing required data and KPIs.
  • Track technology spend and develop ROI model to help prioritize projects.
  • Assist in developing improved financial reporting at a department level.
  • Provide broader financial/analytical support for functional initiatives, including participation on working teams, ownership of deliverables and tracking of results; initiatives could relate to volume/market share, pricing, field or functional productivity, equipment/network efficiency and external benchmarking.
  • Deliver ad hoc reporting and complex modeling analyses to support multiple stakeholders in a cross-functional matrix environment, balancing their needs and perspectives to maximize the company’s interests.

What you’ll need to excel:

At a minimum, you’ll need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting or equivalent related work or military experience.
  • 1 year related experience, including budgeting and forecasting.

It’d be great if you also have:

  • 3 years related experience, including budgeting and forecasting.
  • Experience creating complex formulas and models in Excel with large amounts of data in various formats.
  • Experience with Business Intelligence (BI) tools.
