Service Technician

A successful Service Technician delivers quality and productive workmanship on each and every repair/diagnostic performed.

Key Job Responsibilities include:

• Perform vehicle services as outlined in the repair order
• Conduct vehicle inspections, document and notify service advisor of findings including labor and parts.
• Accurately document all work performed.
• Problem solve and provide alternative solutions to advisors and customers as needed.
• Communicate with advisors and services managers in a professional manner on a daily basis.
• Complete and stay current on all trainings set forth by manufacturer to improve product knowledge and customer service.
• Follow all shop policy, procedure, safety and environmental rules.
• Maintain cleanliness of vehicles and work area while performing service or repairs.

Required Skills and Abilities:

• Professional demeanor and work ethic including a demonstrated ability to take initiative.
• Ability to drive manual transmission preferred
• Valid drivers license with a clean DMV record
• Minimum of three years of automotive repair and diagnostics experience. (Franchise experience preferred.)
• Online training completed with ASE and/or franchise certifications preferred.
