The Opportunity

The Part-Time Associate is the key to our success! Stores rely on Part-Time Associates to provide excellent customer service, keep the shelves stocked with good, fresh food, and create a great shopping experience.

What You'll Do

• Maintain a store section as assigned, order, receive, and stock merchandise using proper equipment; ensure proper pricing, check product dates for rotation, and stock shelves and displays.
• Set up advertising/promotional displays and review invoices for accuracy.
• Clean and maintain sanitation standards in all store areas and the parking lot as directed by management.
• Operate a cash register, process customer payments and refunds, and verify eligibility for alcohol sales.
• Provide friendly, knowledgeable assistance to customers and load purchases into their vehicles if requested.
• Perform basic bookkeeping duties and record lost/damaged goods and store supplies.

What You'll Bring

• Ability to read and write English, interact with the public and co-workers, and comprehend instructions and product labels.
• Effectively present information in small group situations and apply common sense to detailed instructions.
• Regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, frequently up to 45 pounds, and occasionally up to 60 pounds.

• Basic PC/Outlook skills
• A Retail Management Certificate
