We are seeking a highly skilled and visionary Director of Technology to oversee and optimize the internal technology systems that power our business operations. This leadership role is responsible for managing and enhancing our IT infrastructure, ensuring seamless workstation support, robust system administration, secure network infrastructure and comprehensive cybersecurity measures. Additionally, the Director will lead a development team focused on creating internal tools and automation solutions to drive efficiency and innovation across the company.

This leadership role is responsible for managing and enhancing our IT infrastructure, ensuring seamless workstation support, robust system administration, secure network infrastructure and comprehensive cybersecurity measures. Additionally, the Director will lead a development team focused on creating internal tools and automation solutions to drive efficiency and innovation across the company.
What You’ll Accomplish And Experience
- Hands On IT Operations: Actively manage the day-to-day operations of internal technology, including network infrastructure, hardware, software and telecommunications
- Technical Troubleshooting: Provide direct technical support and troubleshooting for end-users, ensuring minimal downtime and swift issue resolution
- Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor a team, providing guidance and professional development opportunities while working alongside them
- Strategic Planning: Develop and implement technology strategies to align with company’s business goals and enhance productivity
- Budget Management: Prepare and manage the technology budget, ensuring cost-effective solutions and investments
- Vendor Management: Negotiate contracts and manage relationships with external vendors and service providers
- Security: Ensure the security of technology systems and data, implementing best practices and compliance with regulations
- Project Management: Lead technology projects from conception to implementation, ensuring timely and successful completion
- Lead Development and Automation: Lead and manage a small development team to design, implement and deliver automation solutions that enhance operational efficiency and streamline workflows
- M&A Technology Assessment and Integration Planning: Demonstrated expertise in evaluating technology stacks during mergers and acquisitions including identifying redundancies, assessing scalability and compatibility and creating comprehensive integration plans aligned with business objectives

- Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science or a related field
- Proven experience managing end user services, proficient in Microsoft, including installation, configuration and management of Windows Server environments, Activity Directory, Group Policy and security protocols
- Proven experience related to development and leading developers in an operational environment
- Proven experience leading teams in implementing IT process automation and systems integration
- Proven experience leading network engineering teams
- Strong hands-on technical experience in technology systems, infrastructure, and security
- Experience with IT project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, etc.)
- Experience designing and implementing security solutions in complex environments
- Working expertise in networking, network protocols, operating systems, and security technologies
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and container technologies
- Customer-centric mindset with focus on delivering exceptional end user experiences
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to identify and resolve complex IT issues
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with stakeholders at all levels
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CCNA, CEH or GIAC are highly desirable
